At the December 10, 2025 Maryland Asphalt Association Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors, the Board of Directors officially adopted the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan – a focused roadmap built to strengthen the industry while keeping Maryland’s infrastructure safe, reliable, and future-ready.

- Advocating for long-term transportation funding and investments;
- Advancing the industry by building stronger relationships, workforce efforts, and expanding representation;
- Leading as a trusted technical resource through specifications, training, and innovation; and
- Promoting industry best practices by championing safety, sustainability, quality, and recognition.
Guided by a mission to support a resilient, high-quality asphalt industry and a vision for safe, sustainable statewide infrastructure, the plan underscores values that have long defined MAA: integrity, collaboration, technical excellence, and stewardship.
Top-priority initiatives include bolstering advocacy tools, expanding public outreach, strengthening technical engagement, and elevating work zone safety. Mid- and long-term goals focus on workforce development, expanded sustainability efforts, and broader industry recognition programs.
