Hot Mixer 2026 Recap
Over 200 MAA members and their guests gathered at Fisherman’s Crab Deck on October 3 for Hot Mixer 2026, an evening of networking, good food, and plenty of familiar faces from across Maryland’s asphalt and paving community. We escaped the rain, and Mother Nature gave us a perfectly cool, dry fall evening. The Crab Deck served piping-hot large crabs and other savory selections, while local musician Matt Avery played familiar tunes for the crowd.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Maryland Women of Asphalt also sold wine tumblers, which nearly sold out – another reminder of the generosity and spirit that define our industry. $4 for each tumbler sold will go towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Showcasing the generosity of our industry, the Women of Asphalt also collected cash donations for the fundraiser.
The event came together thanks to our generous sponsors. Their support keeps this a highlight of the MAA calendar.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the team, including the MAA Events Committee, that made the night run smoothly!
