Extreme weather is hitting construction and manufacturing operations more often, and OSHA expects employers to have emergency action plans in place before disaster strikes. The DMV has seen hurricanes, tornadoes, severe flooding, and even a derecho in recent years, causing fatalities and major business interruptions. On November 9 from 10 to 11 a.m., speaker Adele Abrams will lead a free Zoom webinar on OSHA and MSHA requirements tied to extreme weather and natural disasters.
